For a lot of those suffering from depression, one of the focuses is on identifying and transforming low self esteem thinking. If you find yourself having low self esteem thoughts and have been experiencing feelings of depression, get in touch with me. I will be happy to support you through that process and find ways to change the negative factors involved with low self esteem.

Anxiety is a normal response to human experience and survival. Not unlike the fight, flight, or hide response, humans need anxiety in order to act and to protect themselves from suffering. Most people experience anxiety at some points in their life, however limited or mild. Yet, many people experience a heightened and uncomfortable level of anxiety causing one to seek treatment. Rather than medicating the anxiety away as a permanent solution, the psychotherapy process approaches a person’s anxiety with intense curiosity in an effort to help the person to understand and heal the source of the anxiety.

Couples & Groups

When a relationship seems to require more work than the partners can offer on their own, but there is a desire to maintain the relationship, a couple may seek professional assistance. People may also seek relationship counseling for premarital counseling, parenting issues, changes in the nature of the relationship (regarding monogamy and other commitments, for instance), divorce counseling, terminal illness of one partner, and many other reasons.

Group therapy is a shared therapeutic experience which includes the presence of others who are working through similar issues. Group therapy can focus on interpersonal relationships or on particular concerns shared by the group members. Group therapy is offered to help you reach a myriad of different therapeutic goals.
